- There is some milk left in the fridge. (В холодильнике осталось немного молока.) — some также употребляется в утверждениях с неисчисляемыми существительными, когда речь идет о неопределенном количестве.
- Do you have any questions regarding the new project? (У вас есть какие-либо вопросы относительно нового проекта?) — В вопросительных предложениях вместо some используется any.
- We didn't find any information about the scheduled maintenance. (Мы не нашли никакой информации о плановом техническом обслуживании.) — В отрицательных предложениях стандартно используется any для указания на отсутствие чего-либо.
