Для образования формы 3-го лица единственного числа в Present Simple используются три основных правила добавления окончаний: -s, -es или -ies (при замене буквы -y). Ниже приведен список слов, распределенный по соответствующим колонкам:

Основные правила:
- -es добавляется к глаголам, оканчивающимся на -s, -ss, -sh, -ch, -x, -o.

- -s добавляется во всех остальных случаях, включая глаголы на гласную + y (как в слове says).
