Rules for Use:

  • Many: Used with countable nouns in negative sentences and questions.
  • Much: Used with uncountable nouns in negative sentences and questions, or as an adverb.
  • A lot of: Used with both countable and uncountable nouns, primarily in affirmative sentences.
